Ingredients for Meatballs

  • 150 g boiled fresh kidney beans
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

to rest

  • Breadcrumbs

for frying

  • Sunflower oil

for the hamburger

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 tablespoons of grated tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of chili paste
  • ½ cup sliced green olives
  • 8 pieces of thinly sliced pickled cucumbers
  • 4 leaves of lettuce

How to Make Kidney Bean Meatballs?

Puree the boiled fresh kidney beans by passing them through the robot. Take a large mixing bowl and add the egg, breadcrumbs and soy sauce. Knead until all ingredients are incorporated. Cut off large pieces of meatball dough and shape into hamburger patties. Cover with breadcrumbs and rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Fry the rested meatballs in hot oil until golden brown. Take it on a paper towel and absorb excess oil. Cook the grated tomatoes in a small sauce pan with tomato paste until slightly thickened. Lightly toast the hamburger buns in the toaster. Spread a tablespoon of the tomato sauce you prepared on the bottom of each bread. Place sliced green olives, red kidney beans, pickled cucumbers and lettuce leaves on top, respectively. Cover with another slice of bread and serve hot.
