How to Make Gum Gum Ice Cream Recipe
- Take the milk and mastic gum in a deep pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. When the milk starts to boil, add granulated sugar and salep. Stirring, boil for another 10-15 minutes on low heat and remove from the stove.
- Cool the milk, stirring occasionally, and pour into a container with a deep lid. Place the container in the freezer and freeze for an hour. Since the edges of the ice cream will freeze and the middle will be more liquid, mix it occasionally so that all sides are frozen evenly.
- In this way, mix and freeze one hour apart. Refrigerate for 5 hours. Serve garnished with currants and nutmeg.
