- 10 shallots
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 coffee cup of grated coconut
- 1 capsicum pepper
- 600-700 g chicken thigh meat
- 1 coffee cup of oil
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 glass of water
- Salt
- 5-6 sprigs of fresh coriander
How to Make Curry Chicken Recipe?
- To marinate the chicken, mix the shallots, garlic, black peppercorns, cumin, grated coconut and pepper in a bowl. Add this mixture to the chicken meat and rub well. Cover and rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Heat the oil in a separate pan, add the cinnamon and cumin seeds and fry for a few minutes. Add the diced onion. When the onions soften, add the grated tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken meat and turmeric to the pot. After mixing all the ingredients well, add the water and salt. First cook for 5 minutes on high heat. Then close the lid of the pot, cook the chicken meat for 20 minutes on medium heat. Remove from the stove, sprinkle with freshly chopped coriander and serve.
