25th Istanbul Jazz Festival starts tomorrow
Legendary names such as Nick Cave, Robert Plant, Benjamin Clementine, Melody Gardot, Caro Emerald, Dave Holland, Zakir Hussain meet music lovers in Istanbul.

Istanbul Jazz Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, will host more than 250 local and foreign artists in 27 venues between 26 June and 17 July.

The opening of the festival will begin with a concert of Turkish Jazz for Generations in its 25th year.

The most important soloists and ensembles of the Turkish jazz scene will take the stage accompanied by the TRT Light Music and Jazz Orchestra conducted by Kamil Özler. At the night, the Lifetime Achievement Award, which has been given to jazz masters since 2002, will be presented to double bassist Nezih Yeşilnil, pianist and performer Şevket Uğurluer and mouth harmonica player Ahmet Faik Şener.

American jazz artist Melody Gardot, who gave her first concert in Turkey as part of the Istanbul Jazz Festival in 2009, will delight many fans in our country in the 25th year of the festival. Gardot, who has created her own audience with her albums that have achieved great success around the world, will be at Uniq Open Air Stage on Wednesday, June 27th.

Benjamin Clementine, who once again proved the shocking impact of his music with his second album I Tell A Fly, released last year, will meet his fans at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Stage on Thursday, July 5th.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are coming

Australian artist Nick Cave, who has inspired many artists throughout his forty-five-year music career, and The Bad Seeds, which has an integral place in the artist's music career, will meet their fans in Istanbul after 17 years. The concert will take place on July 10 at KüçükÇiftlik Park.

Caro Emerald, one of the most energetic voices in the music world since 2009, will be at Zorlu PSM Main Theater on Thursday, July 12th. Among the names that will be hosted by the festival are the giant names of contemporary jazz, Dave Holland, Zakir Hussain and Chris Potter, Avishai Cohen, who is among the indispensable figures of the jazz and classical music world today, and the Fabrizio Bosso Quartet, which will provide an unforgettable jazz night at the Venetian Palace.

Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters

Robert Plant, the legendary voice of Led Zeppelin and one of the leading vocalists and band leaders in rock history, will be a guest at the Istanbul Jazz Festival again after 11 years. The concert, where Plant will perform songs from his latest album Carry Fire accompanied by his band The Sensational Space Shifters, will take place on Tuesday, July 17, at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Stage...

The "Jazz in the Parks" concerts, which will be held free of charge, and the "Night Out", which will provide a festival experience within the festival on the Kadıköy-Moda line, will continue this year as well.

Tickets for the 25th Istanbul Jazz Festival can be purchased through Biletix sales channels and from the İKSV main box office, without any service fee, between 10.00-18.00 every day except Sunday.
