Take all the ingredients required for the dough into a kneading bowl. Knead to obtain a hard dough. Place the dough on the floured counter and roll it out with the help of a rolling pin. Cut strips from the dough using a knife. Then cut small squares and flour the pieces to prevent them from sticking to each other. Repeat the same process until all the dough is used. Boil the hangel dough you prepared in salted boiling water. Strain it using a colander and place it on a serving plate.
For the yoghurt sauce, put the strained yoghurt and yoghurt in a bowl. Add the crushed garlic and mix. For the onion sauce, put olive oil and butter in a sauce pot. When the butter starts to melt, add the chopped onions. Season with salt and spices. Cook until the onions turn brown and remove from the stove.
First pour yoghurt sauce and then onion sauce over the hangel. Serve hot.
