How to Make Laz Pastry Recipe?

In the dough kneading bowl, mix the yoghurt, olive oil, salt, water, egg and 25 g of melted and warm butter thoroughly. Add the sifted flour little by little and knead until you get a smooth dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for half an hour. For the cream, mix milk, sugar, starch and flour over low heat until it reaches the consistency of pudding. Remove from the stove and add the butter. Mix and leave to cool. Mix flour and starch in a bowl to roll out the dough. Tear off large walnut-sized pieces from the dough. Roll out each piece on a counter sprinkled with a mixture of flour and starch, using a rolling pin, to the thickness of a baklava pastry, according to the dimensions of your baking tray. Lay each piece of dough you roll out on kitchen cloths to dry and ventilate. When the cream is warm, beat it with a mixer to obtain a smooth consistency. Melt the remaining butter and let it cool. Grease the round baking tray. Lay 20 sheets of dough on top of each other and spread all the cream. Lay the remaining 20 sheets of dough on top of each other in the same way. Slice it into baklava slices. Pour the remaining butter over it. Bake the dessert dough in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 45 minutes until it is thoroughly browned. Take it out of the oven and sprinkle 1 cup of powdered sugar on it while the dessert is hot. Serve cold, adding strawberry jam if desired.
