Materials

  • 1 kg cubed lamb meat
  • 1 tea glass + 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper paste
  • Half a kilo of eggplant
  • 250 g green pepper
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

How to Make Mardin Stew Recipe?

Boil the lamb meat with 1 glass of water. When the water is completely absorbed, add 1 tea glass of olive oil and fry. Add diced tomatoes and hot pepper paste. In a separate bowl, sauté the coarsely chopped peppers and eggplants in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. When the meat is almost cooked, add the peppers and eggplants. Flavour with salt and blackpepper. Serve hot.
