Classic meatballs: Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of ground beef
  • 1 onion (grated)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 slice of bread (soaked in water and squeezed)
  • 1 egg
  • Half a bunch of parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper (to your taste)

Fabrication:

  1. Add the ground meat, grated onion, crushed garlic, soaked and squeezed bread crumbs, egg, finely chopped parsley, cumin, salt and black pepper into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix all the ingredients well and knead.
  3. Take walnut-sized pieces from the mixture and shape them into meatballs by rolling them with your hands.
  4. Cook the meatballs you prepared on the grill, in a pan or in the oven.
  5. Serve hot.

Stuffed meatballs:

  1. Materials:
  • 500 grams of ground beef
  • 1 cup fine bulgur
  • 1 onion (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Salt and pepper (to your taste)
  • For the filling: walnuts, spices (optional)

Fabrication:

  1. Place the bulgur in a bowl, add enough hot water to cover it and let it sit. Then strain the water.
  2. Fry the grated onion in a pan with oil until it turns pink.
  3. Add the minced meat and fry until it releases its water. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Knead bulgur and roasted minced meat thoroughly in a mixing bowl.
  5. For the filling, mix walnuts and optional spices.
  6. Take walnut-sized pieces from the meatball mixture, roll them in your palm, open them with your fingers and put the walnut mixture inside.
  7. Cook the stuffed meatballs in boiling water and serve.

Potato meatballs:

  1. Materials:
  • 500 grams of ground beef
  • 2 medium sized potatoes (boiled and mashed)
  • 1 onion (grated)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)

  • Add the ground meat, grated onion, crushed garlic, crushed bread crumbs, boiled and crushed potatoes, finely chopped parsley, egg, salt, black pepper and chili pepper into a mixing bowl.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and knead.
  • Take walnut-sized pieces from the meatball mixture you have prepared and shape them into meatballs by rolling them in your palm.
  • Heat enough oil in a pan to fry the meatballs.
  • Fry the meatballs in oil until golden brown.
  • Place the fried meatballs on a plate lined with paper towels and drain excess oil.
  • Serve hot. You can serve it with yoghurt or salad.

Meatballs with Cheddar

  1. Materials:
  • 500 grams of ground beef
  • 1 onion (grated)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 2 slices of stale bread (soaked in water and squeezed)
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper (to your taste)
  • For the filling: sliced cheddar cheese

  • Fabrication:
  • Add minced meat, grated onion, crushed garlic, squeezed bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper to a mixing bowl.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and knead.
  • Take walnut-sized pieces from the meatball mixture, open them with your hand, put sliced cheddar cheese inside and shape them into meatballs.
  • Cook the meatballs you prepared on the grill, in a pan or in the oven.
  • Serve hot. You will get a delicious meatball with the cheddar cheese melting inside.

Meatballs with olive oil:

  1. Materials:
  • 500 grams of ground beef
  • 1 cup fine bulgur
  • 1 onion (grated)
  • 1 cup fine bulgur
  • 1 onion (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of pepper paste
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Half a bunch of parsley (finely chopped)
  • Half a tea glass of olive oil
  • Salt, black pepper and chili pepper (according to your taste)
  • Hot water (to soak bulgur)

Fabrication:

  1. Place the bulgur in a bowl and add enough hot water to cover it. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and drain the water.
  2. Lightly fry the grated onion in a pan with olive oil.
  3. Add minced meat and continue frying. Add the tomato paste and cook, stirring, until the minced meat absorbs its water.
  4. Add the soaked bulgur, finely chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper and chili pepper to the cooked ground meat. Mix the ingredients well together.
  5. Leave the mixture to rest, you can keep it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to cool.
  6. Take walnut-sized pieces from the cooled meatball mixture and shape them into meatballs by rolling them in your palm.
  7. Arrange the meatballs you prepared on a serving plate and serve by drizzling olive oil on them.
  8. Olive oil meatballs can be served with lettuce, tomato and lemon slices.
