Television productions nominated for Emmy Awards were announced at the ceremony held by the Television Academy in Hollywood.
HBO channel's series "Game of Thrones" received 22 nominations, becoming the production with the most nominations at the 70th Emmy Awards.
NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and HBO's "Westworld" were nominated in 21 categories each.
For the 70th Emmy Awards, HBO channel's productions were nominated in a total of 108 categories, while Netflix's productions were nominated in a total of 112 categories.
Thus, Netflix surpassed HBO, which has received the most nominations at the Emmy Awards for 17 consecutive years.
The awards night, which will be held on September 17 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, will be broadcast live on NBC.
