Istanbul Museum of Modern Art: The Magical World of Art

Istanbul Modern Art Museum, It brings children together with art on weekends. Workshops specially designed for children between the ages of 7-14 allow them to gain experience in different branches of art. Workshops ranging from painting to sculpture, from design to architecture, help children develop their creativity by leaving them in the footsteps of art. While each workshop program is organized with limited quotas, it offers a privileged art experience to museum visitors.

Istanbul Modern Weekend Children and Family Workshops: Experiences Filled with Art

Istanbul Museum of Modern Arthosts weekend workshop programs specially designed for children between the ages of 7-14. These programs offer interactive experiences that immerse children in the museum's art collections, exhibitions, and artists' lives, allowing them to explore a wide range of art, from painting to sculpture, video to performance, design to architecture.

  • Age group: Children aged 7-14
  • Quota: Limited to 15 children per workshop
  • Duration: Each workshop is 60 minutes

    • Artist: Adnan Coker

    • Contents: In the workshop focusing on Adnan Çoker's abstraction method, creating a perception of depth in two-dimensional planes and completing the composition by creating geometric shapes.
  2. One Artist, One Workshop: Printmaking
    • Artist: Aliye Berger
    • Date and time: 5 November, 25 November | 10, 30 December 13.00
    • Contents: In the workshop focusing on Aliye Berger's printmaking techniques, experimenting with linoleum, wood and metal printing techniques and creating paintings using EVA.
  3. One Artist, One Workshop: Forms from Nature
    • Artist: F. Tulin
    • Date and time: 11, 26 November 13.00
    • Contents: F. Tülin's workshop focuses on forms inspired by nature, creating patterns, enlarging forms and reinterpreting the concept of still life.
  4. One Artist, One Workshop: Fantasy Figures
    • Artist: Selma Gurbuz
    • Date and time: 12 November | 2 December 13.00
    • Contents: Designing figures inspired by nature in the workshop focusing on Selma Gürbüz's concept of figurative painting.
  5. What Do Art Works Tell Us?
    • Date and time: 18 November | 3, 23 December 13.00
    • Contents: Workshop focusing on the examination, interpretation and storytelling of works of art.
  6. Discovery Zone Education Program in Zeid's World
    • Date and time: 14.30 every day on different dates
    • Contents: A program that introduces contemporary artist Fahrelnissa Zeid and provides artistic experience.

Miniatürk: Big Discovery with Little Hands

Miniaturk, It offers visitors a unique cultural tour opportunity by hosting large historical artifacts on a small scale. However, Miniatürk attracts attention not only with its small models but also with its free events organized for children. A wide range of events awaits children, from colorful dreams troupe to teacher Chaplin shows, from balloon folding masters to robot design workshops. However, Miniatürk not only shrinks the architectural works but also attracts attention with free events organized for children. This program, which targets children aged 7-10, focuses on recognizing and interpreting the art of contemporary artist Fahrelnissa Zeid. The program introduces children to the artist's dream world and offers them the opportunity to discover their sources of inspiration. Children who express their emotions from an artistic perspective have the chance to further develop their creativity.

Panorama 1453 History Museum Children's Activities:

Panorama 1453 History Museum hosts children with various activities, from teacher Chaplin to a flower effect workshop, from Karagöz's job search to learning robotic coding. These activities aim to provide children with both a fun and educational experience.
