Apple cider vinegar is a popular natural drink that has been used for centuries both in the kitchen and in alternative medicine. Apple cider vinegar is an acidic liquid obtained by fermentation of apple juice. This drink offers many health benefits and can provide a number of benefits when used correctly.

Some of the potential benefits of apple cider vinegar include:

  1. Supports digestive health: Apple cider vinegar can contribute to digestive health. It can relieve bloating, gas and digestive problems by helping regulate digestion. Additionally, apple cider vinegar may help balance stomach acid.
  2. Can balance blood sugar levels: Apple cider vinegar can help balance blood sugar. It can especially help people with type 2 diabetes control their blood sugar. Studies have shown that apple cider vinegar can improve insulin sensitivity and help keep blood sugar under control.
  3. Can balance weight: Apple cider vinegar can contribute to weight management. Research shows that apple cider vinegar may increase feelings of fullness and reduce food intake. It can also speed up metabolism and support fat burning.

There are also benefits of mixing apple cider vinegar with water and drinking it every morning. When consumed this way, apple cider vinegar may be less damaging to the stomach and have a milder effect on the digestive system. Additionally, when apple cider vinegar is diluted with water, a more drinkable taste is achieved.

Apple Cider Vinegar Recipe

Materials:

  • 5-6 ripe apples
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tea glass of apple cider vinegar (motherwort vinegar)

Vehicles:

  • Large glass jar or glass jug with lid
  • Clean cheesecloth or napkin
  • Rubber band or tire

Steps:

  1. Choose 5-6 ripe apples suitable for making apple cider vinegar. It is preferable to use organic apples, but if you cannot find organic, you can also use regular apples. You don't need to peel the apple, but it is important to cut off any dirty or spoiled parts.
  2. Chop the apple into small pieces and remove the seeds. Cutting it into small pieces will speed up the fermentation process.
  3. Get a large glass jar or glass jug with a lid. Place the apple pieces in the glass jar.
  4. Boil 1 liter of water in a separate pot. Pour the boiling water over the apple pieces. Make sure the apple pieces are completely submerged in the water.
  5. Add sugar and mix. You can use 1 glass of granulated sugar. The sugar will start the fermentation process from the apples.
  6. Stir the mixture well and let it cool at room temperature. The temperature of the mixture should be between 20-25 degrees. If the temperature is too high, wait a while for it to cool down.
  7. Add a well-mixed tea glass of apple cider vinegar to the mixture. This will act as a starter culture to speed up the fermentation process.
  8. Cover the mouth of the glass jar or jug with a clean cheesecloth or napkin. This will allow the mixture to aerate and fermentation to occur.
  9. Cover the jar with cheesecloth and use a rubber band or elastic to tie it tightly.
  10. Leave the apple cider vinegar to ferment at room temperature for 2-3 weeks. Wipe the jar regularly with a clean cloth and remove the yeast layer that forms inside the jar.
  11. After 2-3 weeks, when it reaches the consistency of vinegar, strain the mixture using a strainer or cheesecloth. Transfer the liquid to a clean glass bottle and cap.
  12. Store the apple cider vinegar you have obtained in a dark and cool place. This way it can last for a long time and is ready for use.

Note: The fermentation process of apple cider vinegar can take time and results may vary. It is important to keep it in a controlled environment and take cleaning precautions.

You can make apple cider vinegar at home and use it in a healthy way by following this recipe.
