Netflix Organizes a “Short Series Writing Workshop” for Young Talents
Leading entertainment platform Netflix is launching a special workshop to support creative talents in Turkey and train future creative industry leaders. This project called “Netflix Short Series Writing Workshop” has a special aspect; The quota is reserved for students studying at universities in regions affected by the earthquake.
The 20 students who qualified to participate in this special workshop consist of talented young people selected from İnönü University, Harran University, Gaziantep University, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Çukurova University and Akdeniz University.
The workshop program will last a full year and the first phase has recently started in Antalya. At this stage, students are given training from leading names in the industry such as international TV series and film director and producer Luke Eve and screenwriter Melisa Üneri. In the later stages of the training program, students will have the opportunity to participate in online training given by the Netflix team and Turkey's leading artists.
At the end of the workshop, participants will have the chance to develop their own short series projects and present them to Netflix Turkey officials. This project offers a great opportunity for young talents to step into the industry and share their creativity on the Netflix platform.
