- 1 cup of red lentils
- 3 glasses of water
- 1 cup fine bulgur
- Half tablespoon of chili paste
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of tarragon
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 tablespoon of red chili powder
- Salt
- Black pepper
How to Make Lentil Meatballs?
Wash the lentils with plenty of water and put them in the pot. Add 3 cups of water and cook until the lentils are soft. Clean the foam that accumulates on it while cooking with the help of a spoon. Add fine bulgur, tomato paste, tarragon and salt and cook on low heat until the bulgur softens. Take the pot off the stove and let the mixture cool. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Add to olive oil and fry on low heat. Add to the mixture in the pot. Clean and chop the parsley. Add red pepper powder, salt, pepper and parsley and knead. Cut off pieces and shape them. Serve with fresh greens on the side.
